OVER 35 YEARS OF SERVICE

Olympic Ambulance Service, Inc. was started in October of 1971, by Bill and Esther Littlejohn, with one ambulance and 5 part time employees.  Today Olympic Ambulance remains under sole ownership by the Littlejohn Family.  One of our advantages of being a privately operated service is being able to apply small company values in a big company.

Olympic Ambulance now operates in Sequim, Port Angeles, Bremerton, Lacey and a sister corporation Mason County Medic One in Shelton.  Company wide there are now over 200 employees, serving five counties with a fleet of over 25 ambulances. There have been many changes during the past 30 years that Olympic Ambulance has been operating. Due to changes in State and County regulations, the ambulance personnel are better trained and more qualified then ever before. Improvements in continuing education and advances in technology have greatly improved our communications, equipment and the medical techniques available for treating patients in the field. Olympic Ambulance values its working relationship with local city, county, and federal fire agencies. Working together provides a better service to the communities we serve.
